About 2 weeks ago, I started working with a startup that is focused on using geo-spatial mapping, high-resolution social/demographic data, and AI to enhance important government decision-making. We started with the concept that our tools would support and streamline the town planning approval process, but in the current climate, we are pivoting to build diagnostic mapping and simulation tools to enhance government decision-makers in Australia - and hopefully beyond.
I’ll eventually share the name of the company, but for now I’ll start tracking references that I find interesting and useful as I try to rapidly design for COVID-19. I hope it will be useful
